Born in Detroit on July 27, 1930 to James and Rolene Stanley, Mildred lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. One of her many joys was being the Treasurer for the Howell Elks Lodge and the time she spent there.
She is lovingly remembered by her 5 children:
Michael (Brenda) Hales, Robert (Sue) Quigley, David (Donna) Quigley, Patrick (Michele) Quigley, Sue Quigley.
Mildred was a proud and devoted grandmother to:
Kelly (Patrick) Heidenreich, Ryan (Jennifer) Hales, Heather (Ryan) Cook, Meaghan (Justin) McKeown, Jake (Bailey) Quigley, Kelsey Quigley, Emily Quigley, Steven Quigley, Joey Quigley, Eddie (Molly) Murray, and Mary (Ryan) Discher.
She was also blessed with great and great, great grandsons:
Tommy, Evan, James, Tucker, Max, Tommy and Max who brought her endless joy and laughter.
Survived by brother Larry (Cathy) Stanley, Bob (Pam) Stanley, nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by husbands Chuck Hales, Edward Quigley and Fred Davies and her sister, Jeannette Collier.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will be a guiding light and a source of comfort in the days ahead.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 - 1:00pm with a time of sharing beginning at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 28th at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home ( MacDonalds Chapel) 315 N. Michigan Ave, Howell, MI 48843. Following the service will be a luncheon and further celebrating of Mildred's life at the Howell Elks Lodge, 2830 E. Grand River Ave, Howell, 48843.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made (noting Mildred's name in the Memo) to:
