Frank Edward Donally

1933 - 2010

Frank Edward Donally, age77, of Lodi, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2010. He was born on October 15, 1933, in Walnut Grove, California to William and Margaret Donally. Frank was a truck driver for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and fishing, as well as playing, in his younger days, and watching football. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan and an Oakland A's fan. Frank was a member of the Lodi Moose Lodge, Partners, and the Legionnaires. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Mr. Donally is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rachel J. Donally; children: Alan Donally, Angelia Ryder, and Marcella Bliss; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings: Albert Donally, Viola Shands, and Charlie Donally; and niece: Carolyn Dell Heirro. He was preceded in death by his parents, his children, Frankie "Dean" Donally and Roxanne McCorstin, and siblings, Jim Donally, Margaret Perry, and Betty Wegat.
Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, October 27, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Friday, October 29, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with committal to immediately follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. A reception will be held at the Lodi Moose Lodge following the committal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's honor to Lodi Police Department Partners, 215 W. Elm Street, Lodi, CA 95240, Attn: Partners – Jeanie Biskup. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
