Albert Brown

BROWN Albert, formerly of Newton, passed away Monday October 3, 2016 at the home of his daughter Andrea Brown in Penfield, NY. He was 93 years old. He is also survived by Phyllis (nee Kupersmith), his wife of more than 62 years, his daughter Lisa Brown, his son Cliff, his daughter-in-law Lisa Halpert, and his grandchildren Ayla and Erek Pamukcu and Aden, Kira and Gideon Brown. Al grew up in Dorchester and served his country as a Sergeant during World War II (Air Force) and the Korean War (Army). Al was the owner and operator of the former Kupersmith Florist of Harvard Square. A Graveside Service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park at 11:45 AM on Thursday October 6, 2016. Shiva will be held at the house of his son Cliff, 9 Hyslop Road, Brookline from 1:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday October 6, 2016 and from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Friday October 7, 2016.
