Marge is survived by her two children, Dr. William (Dr. Penelope) Ogden of Edina, MN, and Joan (Ken) Ogden of Chicago, IL, and her daughter-in-law, Ann (Keith) Hamilton of Springfield, IL; loving grandmother of Jeremy (Holly) Ogden, Dr. Hilary (Charlie) Stoffel, Courtney Ogden, and Ted Hamilton; great-grandmother of Eleanor and Madeleine Stoffel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Ogden; her son, Richard L. Ogden, and her two sisters, Katherine Holmgren and Martha Miller. Marge was very independent all of her life. She loved to read and volunteered at the La Grange Park Public Library for many years. She loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and one chipmunk in particular. She also volunteered at the Brookfield Zoo gift shop and sold Avon products for many years. She enjoyed traveling to Great Britain, watching British programming on PBS, and following the Chicago Bulls. On Arbor Day 2010, a white oak tree was planted in her honor by the Village of La Grange Park in Memorial Park. Her family and friends were always most important to her, especially her nieces Carol Nemes and Linda Morafcik, and her neighbors Marilyn Strojny and Kerry Kennedy. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at Hallowell & James, 1025 West 55th Street, Countryside from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. on October 11, 2014.
