GUTZWILLER
Brig Gen Ret'd, Clyde E., "Gus" Dear brother of Bettie Collins and the late Pearl Martini and Paul Gutzwiller. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Died March 11, 2014 Age 82 in Hilliard OH. Retired Brigadier General from the Army/Ohio National Guard where he had served for over 45 years. Visitation Monday March 17th from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hiliard, Ohio (43026). Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in New Alsace, IN. Donations may be made to St. Brendan's Church or to Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, OH 45203. neidhardminges.com

Our entire Anderson family is saddened by the loss of "The General". My dad, Mutt Anderson, knew "Gus" from sprint car racing back in the day. Some of our fondest memories are of "Gus" coming up to Wash. C.H. to watch the antique race cars run on the half mile track. We always enjoyed his friendship. Rest in peace General. What a good man!

General Gus was instrumental in doing great things for the Army, Ohio National Guard and setting the example for many young officers in shaping their career. God Bless you General Gus.

Will never forget the General giving us a memorial brick from the old Clubhouse at Camp Perry when it was torn down to make way for the new Conference Center. He knew how many memories the entire Clem family had of our years at Camp Perry and the fun we had while our Dad was working! Welcome home good and faithful servant.
