Elizabeth was a great mother, researcher, teacher and friend.
Her eyes danced with light and her laughter will be a memory I shall never forget. She was my maid of honor at my wedding. She holds such a special place in the heart of my family. She and her family are in my prayers. Know that your mom, daughter, wife was a very special woman! May God be with all who knew this extraordinary woman.

This message goes out with all my sympathies to Dave, your children, and the rest of Elizabeth's family and friends...

I am so sorry to hear about Liz's passing. The remembrances of her from her friends, and nursing/research colleagues mesh well of my memories of Liz when I used to run over to her house to play at times when we were just kids in the old neighborhood. She was a lot of fun at 8 years old, and it sounds like she was just as fun, caring, and special as a student, a professional, and as a mother. I am wishing you all the best as you move on with your lives this holiday season and beyond. God bless!

I am saddened to hear the news of Elizabeth's death. My thoughts and prayers are with Elizabeth's family. I had the pleasure to get to know Elizabeth while I was a doctoral student at UVA and was lucky enough to do some research with her. She was such a kind person....her smile was beautiful and she will be missed.
