To the family of Eloise Price: We regret that we were just now made aware of Eloise's passing. We knew her through her dedication at the MGHS and the love and compassion she had for animals. Eloise was a blessing to many and we personally will always remember her loving, heartfelt caring for the 39 cats that she and her staff helped us with getting spayed and neutered. Please know that she touched the lives and hearts of so many in our community. Dee Dee & Harry Chapman Ruckersville, VA

I have worked w/Eloise for 6 years now. Her commitment was far more than most can imagine. She lived and breathed the Humane Society 365/24 hours a day. She was an incredible person. Even in the face of adversity she showed grace and strength be it her battle with day to day operations of the Humane Society or her battle with cancer. I miss her more than I can express. She was truly an honorable woman and one that many should want to pattern themselves after. May her dedication, contributions and personal sacrifices be honored by continuing her legacy of love for the unwanted animals.

Eloise was a friend to the animals. She helped me place 2 shelter cats from Purrin' @ Pantops, and I still have her E-mails. I am very sorry to lose such a young and wonderful animal hero.
