Henry Wadell Bryant
On Sunday, November 8, 2009, God called Henry Wadell Bryant home to be with the Lord.
He was born May 17, 1932, in Fluvanna County, to the late Onie Adams and Charles Henry Bryant.
He was educated in Fluvanna and New Jersey. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the Korean War.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherrill Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, of 40 years, Constance Bryant; and children, Sidney, Kail, Lance, all of New York and Eric of Palmyra, Virginia; seven grandchldren, Sexton, Totiana, Marcell, Steffan and Mariah, all of New York and Lisa and Eric of Palmyra, Virginia; one great-grandchild, Sexton; two sisters-in-law, Linda Jackson and Kacy Duke of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and two special friends, Ella Mae Adams and Deangela Booker.
Thank you to the Hospice staff and dedicated staff of the University Medical Center.
The wake will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009, at Thomassons Funeral Home in Fork Union, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Thessolonia Baptist Church in Fork Union, Virginia.
Thomasson Fork Union Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
