Troy Giles Obituary
Troy Dewayne Giles, 30, of Montreal Lane, Shipman, departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2010, in Suffolk, Virginia.
He was born on January 16, 1980, in Washington, D.C., a son of James Leonard Giles Sr. and Carolalene Bolden Giles of Shipman.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Josalyn Hughes; two daughters, Janelle Giles and Domineak Giles; two sons, Troy D. Giles Jr. and Travon Giles, all of Alexandria; and two brothers, James L. Giles Jr. of Alexandria and Raymond Giles of Shipman.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010, at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, with the Reverend William Massie Foster officiating. Interment will follow at New Mount Cemetery in Arrington.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, February 28, 2010.
Arrangements are by the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston 434-263-4097.

May God Bless you, "mama giles"!! I love your family like you are my own, and i loved my little brother. I lost contact with him after i moved, and now i wish i would have gotten in contact with him sooner. I now know the true meaning of not taking time and life for granted!! I will never know your pain, but know that i will always keep him in my heart. Im gonna miss his beautiful smile most of all, and how he always made me laugh even if i didnt want to. Until we meet again lil brah...i love you!!

My heart goes out to Ms. Giles. She is a co-worker. Ms. Giles is a a dedicated mother and grandmothet and loved her sons and grandkids a lot we always talked about her kids. I kmow this is a difficult time for you but God will be there for you if there is anything I can do please call on me.

My heart goes out to the Giles family during this time of sorrow. T-Roy was like a big brother to me when we were at a place neither one of us wanted to be at. We both received our GED at this place and we were the best of friends. I know he is at a better place than where he was. He is in heaven looking down on us and smiling.
