Robert Anton Moder, 79, of Madison, passed away June 23, 2013. He was born January 10, 1934. He was a retired Major with the Huntsville Police Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Thomas Moder.

Survivors include daughter, Catherine Moder Klein (Bill); son, Robert Thomas Moder (Debra); son, Jeffrey David Moder (Anna); brother, Ralph Moder; grandchildren, Erin Klein Batrich (Adam), Valerie Klein Speth (Brandon), Olivia Klein Pugh (Kameron), Jasmine Yanul (Braden), Amelia Moder, Ben Moder, Sam Moder; six great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Harrison and Oliver Batrich, Emma and Cohen Speth, Haddon Pugh; and special friend, Betty Henry.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville followed by a 6 p.m. chapel memorial service with Brother Mike Stewart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Primitive Baptist Church, 390 Johns Road, Huntsville, AL 35806.
