Christopher Mavrikis Obituary
He was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on December 4, 1965, the son of Elaine (Phyllides) Mavrikis and the late George Mavrikis.
Christopher attended Portsmouth High School and Great Bay College in Portsmouth. He was a lobsterman in the seacoast area for many years.
He is survived by his mother Elaine (Phyllides) Mavrikis; sister, Cheryl L. Hill and her husband Terry of Barrington; brother Craig P. Mavrikis of Eliot, Maine; nephews, Spencer T. Hill of Barrington and Alexander "Xander" Mavrikis and his mother Robbin Levin of Rye; aunts, Susan Selkirk of Calif., Joanne Phyllides of N.H., and Priscilla Mavrikis of Mass.; great-aunt Kay Phyllides of Dover, N.H.; several cousins; and his step-mother Ann Mavrikis of Dover; step-sister Molly Arau; and step-brother Emmet O'Gara
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 40 Andrew Jarvis Drive, Portsmouth, N.H. Sending our love to Elaine, Cheryl and Craig for the loss of your son and brother. I have such great memories growing up in Greenland with all of you.
