SADIE ATKINS Obituary
"For the Lord love a
good Servant"
Mother Sadie Atkins age 93, a resident of Williston, Florida passed away on February 12, 2010. Mother Atkins was a member of Miracle Vision Tabernacle Outreach Center Raleigh, Florida. She was known for many wonderful works; Cooking, sewing, and taking care of people.
Mother Sadie leaves to cherish her loving wisdom and memories: 1 Daughter; Alice Carnegie of Williston, Florida. 9 Grandchildren, Theodore Carnegie, Merial Mills, (Ernest), Aljoseph Carnegie (Elizabeth), Elder Carl Carnegie (Janie), Evang. Felicia Days(Eugene) Oliver "Wendy" Carnegie (Elouise), Virgina Floyd (Danny), Andre Carnegie, and Quanda Parker (Quinton) and a host of Great-grandchildren.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mother Sadie Atkins will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 11:00am, at Unity Temple Deliverance Outreach Center, Inc. (2351 NE 200th Ave.) Williston, Florida. The Committal Services will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation Hours will be held one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Professional Services are under the care of Carnegie Funeral Home. (352) 493-1857 or (800) 493-1855.

The 5 years of being in the Carnegie Family, will always bring fund memories of Mama Sadie, she was the sweetest Saint of God you want to meet, her smile will never be forgotten. Family never forget the life of a true Legion.

I have such fond memories of Mama Sadie. I could always count on her to greet me with one of two phrases whenever I saw her: "I'm going to come to your church as soon as I can get someone to bring me," and "Looks like you're getting fat!" She was such a sweetheart, whose smile and friendliness will be missed.

May God's blessings cover the Atkins and Carnegie family through this Great Iconic loss. It makes me smile when I think of Mrs Sadie driving a "stick shift" in her 80's.......it may sound silly.....but that bought such a joy to my spirit and great is a woman that can make you smile in such a time of saddness!!!! We truly love you Mrs Sadie.....

Remembering my Granny Sadie.....laughs we shared was when she would blurt out things in church at any given moment.....PRAISE DA LORD IN DA HOUSE (LOL) and after her words of wisdom she would always end it with......NOW THINK ABOUT IT! She will forever be in the hearts and minds of the 6 GENERATIONS that came from her.

Grandma Sadie, where do I begin? We have shared many laughs together. You were full of wisdom and your presence alone was enough for us to be thankful for. I can remember in church when Pastor Carl would be preaching and you would just shout out, "Thank about it!" or "Hallelujah in the house!" lol! Just thinking on those things alone brings a smile to my face. We are going to miss you so much and I love you Granny.

My Dearest Great Grandma Sadie, I've has numerous memories, and good times! From hearing you make yourself burp on purpose, to you and I eating ramen noodles with ketchup when I was younger.
