Bobbie Ruth Cobine was born June 5, 1937 in Seminary, Mississippi. At the age of 14 she married her first husband after getting pregnant. One year later Bobbie divorced her first husband. Later she met her husband William C. Cobine Sr. in Arizona, while with her father with the U.S. Air Force. William and Bobbie were married on July 12, 1955. Bobbie traveled with William C. Cobine Sr. while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. Bobbie spent the last thirty six years living in Kings County, thirty-three of which she lived in Lemoore. Bobbie worked for Angel De La Guardia for 25 years, in the Kings County area with her husband. Bobbie was married to her husband for more than 50 years until his passing in 2005. Bobbie graduated high school after a long wait on June 2, 2008 at the age of 71.

Bobbie wanted to stress on all of her family and friends to always continue education, because she did not have the opportunity herself until later in life.
