Dave Forman Obituary
Dave Forman
Dave served in the US Navy in the early 60's. He married Sandy Steele in 1966. Dave was the co-owner and founder of Pacific Topsoils, Inc. He was a pioneer in the field of recycling and a major employer in the City of Everett. Dave was very involved with hot rods, custom cars and trucks. He loved anything mechanical.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his mother, Jennie Forman, of Yakima, WA; four brothers, Art, Mike, Anthony and Hank; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration in Dave's honor will be held from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the New Everett Waterfront Center, Blue Heron Room, 1205 Craftsman Way at Port of Everett Marina. Family, friends, business associates and employees are welcome to attend.

Dear Sandy,
My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. I only met Dave a couple of times at our "Read and Feed" book group, but was always struck by his sunny disposition, humor and energy. Please accept my condolences and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dave was one of those rare individuals that you are honored to have known. I listened, in awe, many times to his recollections as to how he started Pacific Topsoils and developed it into a major employer in the Puget Sound area and income producer for innumerable families. He was an extremely hard worker, tenacious businessman, always one to stand up for his rights as a property owner and businessman and a truly tough act to follow. My sincest condolences to Sandy as well...he always had the most loving words for you.

We are sadden with the loss of Dave and send our condolences to Sandy. Dave was a great boss and always treated me fairly. Dave sure had wild and thrilling hot rods and trucks. It was always great to see Dave and Sandy at the car shows. He will be missed.....
