Alfrances Martin Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Lincoln Martin Sr.; children, Lincoln J. Martin Jr. (Evelyn), Cornel Martin Sr. (Cynthia), Debra Martin (companion, Billy Plaisance) and Hope Adams (Michael); sister, Norma Pitre Lafont; grandchildren, Tiffany Hymel, Ross Martin, Samantha Martin, Revee Dufrene, Cornel Martin Jr., Graham Martin, and Duncan Martin; great-grandchildren, Kerington, Kaylee, Colston, Stella and baby Dufrene; and sister-in-law, Lucille Gillenwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Pitre Sr. and Mercess Felarise Pitre; brothers, Leedwood Pitre, Roland Pitre Sr. and Thomas Pitre Jr.; and sister, Amay Pitre St. Pierre.
Alfrances was a member of the Ladies of LaSalette and the KC Auxiliary. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
