Leroy Soudelier Obituary

Leroy John Soudelier, 87, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2016, at 11:50 AM.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9 from 8:30 a.m. until service time at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church, with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales cemetery II.

He is survived by his three sons, Lanny (Morgan White), Carl (Deborah Michel), and Jace; brother, Eugene "Gene"; grandchildren, Chad, Brigitte, and Aaron; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Adeline Lapeyrouse Soudelier; infant daughter, Corliss; parents, Eddie and Felician Soudelier; and six siblings, Edward, Paul "Bee", Olin, Loyce, Louella Lirette, and Beulah Kramer.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales. He served his country in the Marine Corp-2nd Air wing of WWII. He retired from Texaco after 33 years as an Advanced Material Coordinator. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 380 and served as Past Commander.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
