Sergei Kitchuck Obituary

Sergei "Duke" Michael Kitchuck 73, a resident of Burson,Ca. was killed in Angels Camp on May 14, 2011, but is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Duke, as he was best known, was born to Max and Adeline Kitchuck in Chicago, Il.on October 7, 1937. Duke was a truck driver and a proud member of Teamster - Local 70 for over 20 years. After his driving career he went into business for himself doing signs, license plate frame engraving and soft serve ice cream. Although the fair circuit was a tough business he was a tireless worker and always rose to a challenge. Duke was a car buff, loved to shoot pool and enjoyed taking cruises to new lands. He relished spending quiet time on his property away from the hustle and bustle of city life. He had a gift of being able to build or fix just about anything and his penchant for keeping "stuff" was kiddingly the thing of legend. He was well respected by all who came to know him. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, ex-wife Patricia Ahnstrom, children John Kitchuck (Deanna) and Kim Wear (Greg) , grandchildren Angela Mathisen, Marissa Kitchuck , Jocelyn Ahnstrom, Mary Blake, Gary Boggs, sister-in-law Marjorie Kitchuck and numerous loving extended family members & friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Max & Adeline Kitchuck, wife Judy Kitchuck, brother Robert Kitchuck, and grandson Kenny Blake. A celebration of Duke's life will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at 3:00 pm at Good Samaritan Community Covenant Church, 4684 Baldwin St. Valley Springs , Ca.
