Barbara,
Words cannot describe my sadness when I heard of Dorsey's passing.
I just saw you both in May on our annual Bike Week Festival. It wasn't until
my first Bike week since I moved to Myrtle Beach in '98 that I met the two of you
and truly felt at home. Dorsey always had a smile and a hug for me and I can't express
how much that meant to me. I felt that at least one week out of the year I had
family here and I looked forward to your visits more than Christmas.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Barbara as well as all my love.
And to all of us whose life were touched by Dorsey, rest assured we have a
guardian angel now watching over us who just so happens to ride a Harley!

Barbara & DD,
Everett and I just heard about Dorsey's death a few hours ago. We are so very sorry to hear of his untimely passing. We have such wonderful, fond, and delightful memories of our times together. While they have been a few years ago, they seem like only yesterday. My God bless and comfort both of you during this trying time.

OUR HEART-FELT SYMPATHY GOES TO THE FAMILY OF DORSEY CHRISTIAN.

Dear Barbara and DD,
Our hearts go out to you in your time of loss. Dorsey was one of the finest persons we knew. Its hard to express the sorrow you feel when you lose someone like Dorsey. One of the things he taught me was its okay for a "girl" to ride a motorcycle. I now wish we had taken that ride together he talked about everytime I saw him. Mark saw Dorsey at the bank in Norge a couple months ago and as always he shook his hand when he saw him and hugged him goodbye. He came home grinning about having seen him. He was like a father to Mark. Mark always looked up to him and respected his opinions. Unfortunately Mark is in New York and will be unable to come home for the funeral, BUT we both know that Dorsey is up in Heaven looking down on all of this and smiling. We never saw him without one. He will be missed!

You have my sincerest sympathy. I am a good friend of Gladys' and I have heard Gladys speak often of Mr. Christian. He was good to her and therefore, a good person. I am saddened by Mr. Christian's passing, even though I never knew him. You have my condolences.

My brother Pat and I were deeply saddened to hear of your loss. We both thought a lot of Dorsey and I know Pat was especially fond of him. We regret that Pat will be in Canada at the time of the funeral and regretably unable to attend. Please accept our sincerest sympathies and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most distressing time. He will be missed
