Doris Greathead Obituary

Greathead, Doris Lisle
February 7, 1911 - October 13, 2010
Doris was a member of Westwood United Methodist Church for 70 years and sang in the church choir for 50 years.
After graduating from USC, she married her beloved husband, James W. Greathead, in 1932. Doris spent her lifetime generously serving others through volunteer activities including PTA President, 8 years with Meals on Wheels, 47 years as a Red Cross Gray Lady at Veterans Hospital West LA and 80 years as an active member of PEO.
She is survived by her loving family including her son Bill Greathead, daughter-in-law Leslee, two grandchildren Ashley and Taylor, granddaughter-in-law Rifka, and great-grandson Cole.
A service celebrating Doris's life will be held at 2PM, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Westwood Methodist Church with reception following.
