Ed was such a great person -- he was so down to earth and easy going. I worked with Ed at the USGS. My special thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Although I did not know Ed as one of our students (He graduated 10 years before I was hired at KSU), I did speak with him by telephone last year.
