Frank Malaney Obituary

Frank (Francis)

Malaney

Resident of So. San Francisco

11/2/1935 7/20/2010

On July 20, 2010, Frank passed away peacefully in his sleep from a broken heart, just weeks after his beloved wife Ray. Loving father of Linda Lorenzini (Bill), Jim Malaney (Rena) & Frances Acquistapace (Rick). Cherished grandpa of Zach & Giana Lorenzini, Logan & Lindsey Malaney and Kylie, Aidan & Trevor Acquistapace. Devoted uncle of Michael Clohessy (Kelly), Denise Clohessy (Dave), Stephen Murphy (Jill) & Joanne Anderson (Larry).

Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland where he married his beloved wife, Ray. They immigrated to the United States, starting off in Detroit then to San Francisco and finally settling in south San Francisco, where they raised their children. Frank was a proud man with an unbelievable work ethic, was always willing to lend a helping hand and was always about his family. A retired glazier and member of the Glaziers Local 718 in San Francisco. He was an avid soccer fan and member of The San Francisco Rangers Supporters Club.

His pleasures in life were deep sea fishing, celebrating with friends and spending time with his family. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his grandchildren. The family would like to thank Frank's loving care-giver Rosie Montes & Maria Perez-Gudino. He loved them for bringing him comfort and joy each day. In honor of Frank's fun loving spirit, on his birthday there will be a Celebration of Life in his honor, November 2, 2010 at 4:00; Fiddler's Green in Millbrae.

I remember Frank Ray Linda and Frances. My mom and dad were close friends with them, when I was in kindergarten all the way up til third or fourth grade. My name is Bonnie and I used to spend the night over at their house with Linda, before Frances was born. And vise versa. So sorry to hear of your loss of your parents, my father Denver passed away in 1995 he was only 67. My mom on the other hand did not pass until she turned 90 years old that was in 2018. Take care Linda now that I have your last name, i'm going to do a search on facebook.

It was such a sad loss in such a short period of time to loose them both, but they will live on in spirit in our hearts. I'm deeply sorry for the sadness you must feel.
