I just found out about your loss. I'm so sorry to hear about Paul. I had the privilege of being an RA with Paul at BU. In the cafetaria at Myles, Paul introduced me to my wife Lisa. He was a great guy, always easy to talk to. My thoughts are with you and your family-Ricky

I was shocked and saddened by Paul's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know Paul through the St. Joseph's School and Mountain View Little League. We often discussed sports and our mutual love of coaching. He was a kind and generous person that gave freely of his time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Butters family, especially Jake and Nick. Paul's smile and personality will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Paul left us too soon and he will be missed. I always admired his charm, quick wit, and his friendship.
He worked hard and was a devoted and dedicated father. I will remember him well, and smile when I think of him.

Paul was the coach for my son. Paul was a very positive coach and treated every player as a key part of the team, even the younger players. Even after the season, Paul continued to be a positive supporter of my son.
I also remember Paul's sons who I would refer to as examples of very good players and even better leaders. You could see Paul's parenting in each of them.
Our prayers are with the family.

I was so sad and shocked when I heard about Paul. We were in Jr. High School together and he always had a kind word, and that beautiful smile, capable of lighting up a room. I read all of the guest book posts-a good man indeed.

Please accept my condolences, I was a teammate of Paul's during high school wrestling and remember his work ethic and leadership as team captain, as well as his working under the added difficulties of asthma. He had a very positive influence on all the juniors and sophmores. His father, Nelson was a colleague of my father's as well at Clark University.

I was so very sorry to hear of Paul's death. This is devestating news. Paul and I were friends at BU and recently got back in touch via Facebook. He will be remembered as a genuinely nice person and friend. We lived across the hall from each other in our college dorm and had a lot of laughs together. I hope his family will find that their wonderful memories of him will be a comfort in these very difficult days. I am glad to hear that he has children to continue his legacy.

Paul was a wonderful person. My association was both in High School and 20 years later in San Diego. In both instances, he was a great guy to be around. He was busy and serious, yet had a lighter side as well. The news came as a shock. I am saddened and know that anyone that knew Paul realize that we have lost a true good guy. I hope that you hold his memory close to your hearts and find solace in knowing that he touched a lot of people in a very positive way. May you find peace in your faith, friends and the fond memories you have.
