Mr. Buster Eugene McGough, affectionately known as “Buddy”, age 72, of Bowman, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McGough was born in Nauvoo, AL on February 16, 1953, son of the late Buster McGough and Laura Lee Mahnken Nix. He was a retired construction engineer.
Surviving are his daughter, Jody Anderson of Bowman, GA; son, Larry McGough of Florida; siblings: David, Patricia, Marian, and Chris; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Lee Dodds McGough; and brothers: Henry and Scott.
At Buster’s request, no services will be held.
