Kenneth Borum, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and steadfast friend, peacefully departed this world on October 30, 2025, in Riverhead, New York. Born on November 6, 1941, in Glen Cove, New York, Kenneth dedicated his life to family, community, and service.
In his early years, Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. His commitment to his nation exemplified the values of duty and honor, shaping a character that would endear him to all who knew him.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Mariatu Borum, and their three children: Kenneth Borum, Jr., Dawn Borum-Savage, and Glenn Timmothy Borum and his loving grandchildren, Jeslyn, Trinity & Ebony. He leaves behind a legacy of love and support that will resonate through the lives of those who were fortunate enough to share in his remarkable journey.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation services, which will be held at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY, on November 2, 2025. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by an evening session from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer service will be held on November 2, 2025 at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home at 8:00 PM. Kenneth’s journey will culminate with a burial service at Calverton National Cemetery on November 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Kenneth Borum's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. He had a profound impact on many lives, marked by his kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and country. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
