Phoenix, NY – Michael E. Demore passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at the age of 66, just two weeks shy of his 67th birthday. Born in Fulton, New York, Michael was a revered member of his community, known for his kind spirit, dedication, and unwavering love for life.

Raised in Fulton, Michael was a proud graduate of Auburn Community College. He dedicated over 30 years of exemplary service as an electrician with National Grid in Syracuse, NY, which was formerly known as Niagara Mohawk. His diligent work and passion for his trade left a lasting impression on his colleagues and the community he served.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Phillip J. Demore and Helen A. Demore. He is survived by his cherished sister, Gail L. Malich of Phoenix, NY, who lovingly recalls countless family memories and adventures shared with Michael.

Beyond his professional life, Michael was a talented musician, playing bass guitar for the band Superhero. His love for music was matched by his passion for ice hockey and deep-sea diving. Whether gliding across the ice or exploring the ocean's depths, Michael embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Michael's memory to Francis House in Syracuse, NY, or St. Jude’s's Children Research Hospital, honoring his generous nature and commitment to helping others.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him, yet his memory will live on in the hearts of many for years to come. To leave a special message for the family, please visit www.fosterfuneralhome.com.
