Michael "Mike" Singfield, 60, of Akron, passed away on April 2, 2023, at Barberton Summa Hospital, in Barberton, Ohio. During his illness, he fought a rare and aggressive form of cancer with dignity, courage, and his strong faith in God.
Mike was born on August 15, 1962, at Akron City Hospital, the son of Charles Singfield, Jr., and Rosetta P. (Clark) Singfield. He was a life-long resident of Akron, and attended Akron Public Schools, graduating from John R. Buchtel High School in 1980.

Mike's quiet, kind, and friendly demeanor made his customers feel special and always welcome.
Mike was an avid golfer and played in a summer league with long-standing friends for many years. He was always thrilled to meet the many PGA golfers who dined at the Diamond Grille during the PGA tournaments. Many of them knew him by name, and he kept a tight watch on their security for which they were very grateful.
