Phyllis Elaine Daniels, beloved mother, cherished sister, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 12, 1963, Phyllis lived a vibrant life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Phyllis was a remarkably social person who poured her heart into her family. She is survived by her parents, Nita Ann and Daniel Joe Smith; her loving sons, Christopher Ray (Jonathan) Daniels and Joshua Caulder (Amanda) Daniels; and her precious grandchildren, Justin and Jayden. Phyllis also leaves behind her brother, Danny Smith, her nephew, Dan Smith, and many other family member and friends who will forever remember her radiant spirit and sense of adventure.
Phyllis found joy in the simple moments of life, in her earlier years driving to local parks with friends to listen to the enchanting sounds of owls and frogs in the stillness of the evening. She held a fondness for her time spent visiting her grandparents in Kentucky, where each extended stay was filled with warmth and family connection.
In honoring Phyllis's memory, her family has planned private services that will take place in the peaceful setting of True Cemetery near New Columbus, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity, or church of your choosing in Phyllis's honor.
Phyllis's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will continue to shine through her family, as they carry her memory forward in every gathering, every shared story, and every drive through nature's beauty.
