Sandra “Sandy” LeMay (née Lynn)
October 24, 1940 – October 26, 2025
Sandra “Grandma Sandy” LeMay, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Sandy spent her entire life surrounded by the people and places she loved most.
Sandy was the beloved wife of Jay LeMay and the cherished mother of Mark Lord, Pam Lord, Cindy Lord, Amy Whitsett, Bobby LeMay, and Jackie LeMay, and the late Jim Lord. She was a devoted grandmother to twelve living grandchildren and one angel grandchild who preceded her in death.
Known to many simply as Grandma Sandy, she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, loved, and at home. Her kitchen was always filled with the smell of something delicious — she loved to cook and bake for family and friends.
Sandy’s warmth extended far beyond her family. She had an infectious smile, a kind heart, and a knack for turning strangers into friends. During the summers, she could often be found camping and laughing with her Van Club friends, embracing life’s simple joys and the company of those she loved.
Her legacy is one of warmth, hospitality, joy, and qualities that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at a later date where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful life she lived.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her laughter, her love, and her smile that could light up any room.
Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Sandy’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book can be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
