Sarah Elizabeth Willis, a cherished soul born on January 24, 1947, in the heart of Augusta, Georgia, took her leave from this world on October 14, 2025, at the very place that cradled her spirit throughout her days. Her life was a tapestry woven with beautiful threads of kindness, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

In the quiet hum of her beloved Augusta, Sarah blossomed into a beacon of warmth, carrying with her a radiant smile that could light even the darkest of rooms. She was a living testament to grace and resilience, embodying the very essence of what it means to care deeply for those around her.

As we gather to honor her memory, the community she loved will come together at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, where the air will be thick with the echoes of gratitude for her impact on our lives. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a space where all who knew her may share stories that linger long after she has left us.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, we will bid our final farewell during a funeral service, beginning at 11:00 AM, also held at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. It will be a celebration of a life well-lived and a remembrance of cherished moments that will carry on in our hearts. Following the service, we will guide her to her final resting place at South View Cemetery, where the interment ceremony will commence at 12:15 PM. A profound silence will envelop the gathering, a testament to both grief and gratitude as we lay her to rest.

Sarah Elizabeth Willis leaves an indelible legacy. Her spirit, ignited by love and compassion, will forever illuminate the path for those she leaves behind. In the embrace of memories, she will continue to walk beside us, as we cherish her laughter and the lessons she imparted. The world is a little dimmer without her, yet her light shines on in the hearts of so many. May we all strive to honor her memory by extending kindness and grace in our own lives, just as she did.
