Tony Gene Morse, 55, of Moultrie, died on Friday, October 31, 2025, at PruittHealth- Magnolia Manor.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on December 19, 1969, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of David Lavon Morse and the late Irma Jean Roberts Morse. He was self-employed and owned his own grass-cutting business, where he took great pride in his work and the relationships he built with his customers.
Tony was a talented musician with a true passion for playing the drums. Music was a big part of his life, and he found great joy in sharing that gift with others. He also loved to cook and was known for preparing delicious meals for family and friends.
Tony will be remembered for his love of music, his hard work, and his kind and generous spirit. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Jean Roberts Morse.
In addition to his father, David Lavon Morse of Doerun, he is survived by his son, Tony Gene “TJ” Morse of Valdosta; grandchildren, Alastor Morse, Lily Hope, Elizabeth Morse and Scarlett Morse; brothers, Alfred David Morse and wife Cheryl of Hahira and Evers “Lyn” Morse and wife Vickie also of Hahira, and Michael Dale Morse of Doerun; and several nieces and nephews.
