Warren James Snowden departed this life on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the age of 65. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Warren was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was a retired chef with Cannon’s and Shoney’s Restaurant for over 20 years. Beloved father of Rodney Bradley, and Warren James (Pamela) Snowden, Jr. Son of the late Dave and Mary Johnson Snowden. Grandson of the late Malcar and Emma Johnson. Brother of Linda (Robert), Joseph, Paulette Jasper, Pearline (Melvin) Andry, Keith (Lisa) Snowden, Ernest Earl (Edith) Murray, and the late Samuel and Maurice Snowden. Uncle of the late Debra Ann Robinson. Brother in law of Glenn Elzy, Sr. Godson of the late Rev. John Johnson. Companion of Denise Gray, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation begins at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name church.
