Lucy M Soccol, 90, lost her fight with cancer at Avow Hospice surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, March 8, 2012.
She was born in West Hoboken, NJ, January 17, 1922. The only child of Dominic and Theresa Consolino. She married Galileo (Leo) Soccol on December 8, 1945 atSacred Heart Church in Clifton, NJ. In 1953 they moved their family to Hollywood, FL and worked together in the restaurant and tavern business. After 56 years, 28 years a a widow, she relocated to Naples, FL. where she was an active member of the Quilters Circle at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Also volunteered at White Elephant.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Lucy Ramsay; son-in-law, Wayne; granddaughter, Amber Ramsay Mason; grandson, Adam W. Ramsay (Ashleigh); two great grandsons, Adam and Andrew Mason and her East Coast family, son, Leo Soccol; daughter-in-law, Susie; granddaughter, Julie Luskin (Brandon); grandson, Chris Soccol; and greatgrandson, Matthew and Nicholas Soccol.
She will always be remembered for her love of family and caring of others.
There will be a memorial service this Sunday, March 11, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 777 Mooring Line Drive to celebrate her life at 12:30 following the 11:00 a.m. service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Avow Hospice or a charity of your choice.

I think about Mamasitta often with love and light. Her greatest joy was her family and she was happiest with the chaos and noise her grandchildren brought to her. My heart goes out to each member of the family...she was well loved.
