Dearest Gerry and Keohan family,
Walter and I are holding you all in our hearts and prayers, as our thoughts travel across the miles from the southwest part of our country , where we have been for some time now, to y'all there in Kimberling . Our Glenn informed us he had read in the Springfield News Leader of your dear Tom's passing. How our hearts were saddened to learn this news, and yet our faith encourages us to know that Tom is now and forever experiencing the eternal tender embrace of our loving Maker.
Gerry, having shared so much of love and life with y'all through many years, we are ever grateful for those experiences. Additionally, we are convinced that God needed another Irishman to liven up heaven ( & we all know that Tom could do just that ). He was also a gentleman, a scholar, civic minded and a devoted family man. We are confident that his memory will be treasured by others whose lives he touched in a multitude of ways.
May God keep you , Gerry, and your family ever close to His heart, and grace your lives with the best of His Irish blessings .
Our love, Kay and Walter

In 1990, I had the privilege of working with Branson-Lakes Area leaders in economic development to create a Transportation Master Plan. Tom Keohan was invaluable for his input to the plan, especially bringing knowledge of the Kimberling City/Branson West transportation issues needed to make the plan truly responsive to area planning. I spent many hours touring the area with Tom providing his knowledge of the needs as well as his leadership while working on the Transportation Committee of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. Competition of this study, 25 years ago, has guided roadway development and capital improvements needed to keep up with the traffic growth in the area. Tom became a good friend in the process.

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).

I am blessed to have known Tom through work and Rotary during my years in Branson. He was a very kind man, teaching me patience in working through challenges we incurred on mutual projects. It is my hope your memories will carry you through this time of grief and sadness.
