Roy Edward Inks Roy Edward Inks, age 94, of Manassas, VA, formerly of McKeesport, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011.

He was born in McKeesport on February 11, 1917 to the late Charles and Jane Inks. Shortly after graduating High School he enlisted in the US Navy. He became a fire control technician and went on to serve in World War II and Korea aboard many different vessels. After 20 years of service to his country he retired. Roy then went on to work for over 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Adele K. Inks in 2009.

Survivors include three children, Charles Inks, Joan McKee, Judith McCullough and their loving spouses; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, March 21st at the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 22nd at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
