Carole Gilbert Obituary
Gilbert Carole Reedy Gilbert, age 75, of Manassas, Virginia died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Gilbert was born August 30, 1935 in Bickmore, West Virginia, daughter of the late Garrett A. and Virginia (Holcomb) Reedy. She was a member of Westover Baptist Church, Manassas.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Reedy, WT Reedy and Garrett K. Reedy.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, John Paul Gilbert, Jr.; three children, Jocelyn Dianne Rose, John Paul Gilbert III and Shari Gail Baxter; two brothers, Donald Reedy and Mack Reedy; six grand-children, Hannah and Melissa Baxter of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Lindsay and Emily Rose of Sumerduck, Virginia and Taylor and John Paul Gilbert IV of Nokesville, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 with Rev. Randy Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.
