Gale Nelson Obituary
Gale Linwood Nelson Gale Linwood Nelson, 78, of Lorton, passed away Monday, December 06, 2010.
He was the husband of Ruth Nelson and was a retired auto body mechanic with Koons Ford. He was a U. S. Navy veteran. Mr. Nelson was born in Hillsville, VA August 3, 1932 a son of the late Edgar Nelson and Ila Gardner Nelson.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, David Nelson; a daughter, Debra Riley; grandchildren, Kim and Andy Riley; sisters, Vernie Largen and Nancy King; brothers, Russell, Jimmy and Maynard Nelson.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, VA. with interment to follow in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. and suggest that memorial contributions be made to Capital Hospice.
