Lillian Grimm Obituary
Lillian Foster Grimm, 84, of Grottoes, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was born November 9, 1926, in Kentucky, daughter of the late William and Hazel Shifflette Foster.
Mrs. Grimm loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her dog, Ginger and doing jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Grimm.
Survivors include one son, Harold W. Baugher of Grottoes; three daughters, Connie Marie Parker of Weyers Cave, Brenda Sue Bower of Fishersville and Joan E. Grimm of Grottoes; two grandchildren, Charles William Baugher and Tara L. Seay; three great-grandchildren, Kaila Templeton, Austin Seay and Lauren Shenk; two brothers, William Foster of Oregon, and Kenneth Hicks of Kentucky; five sisters, Dorothy M. Ledgar and Helen M. Hoskins, both of Kentucky, Virginia Ward of Ohio, Diane McDonnell of Maryland, and Darlene Messmear of Kentucky.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011, at Augusta Memorial Park, with Pastor Bob Johnson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grottoes Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1187, Grottoes, VA 24441.
Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro is handling arrangements where there will be no viewing or visitation.
The family will receive friends anytime at their homes over the weekend.

I will sadley mrs. Lillian f. Grim. I only new her for a couple of months.I became her caregiver. She was the nice's person you would every want to meet. I enjoyed going into her home, and spending the day with her. She loved to work on puzzles and I loved to help her. I get so attached to eldrely people, they are so special.
