Timothy Lee Anderson

Timothy Lee Anderson, 56, of the Beech Grove Community, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010.

Born in Montebello, October 10, 1954, he was the son of Homer F. Anderson and the late Pauline Robertson.

He was employed as Project Coordinator for 20 years at Windjammer Construction of Afton. He was a member of Mount Paran Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Louise; his beloved wife of 35 years, Sheila F. Anderson; two sons, Brian "Buck" M. Anderson and his wife, Amanda, of Stuarts Draft, and Timothy "Tater" Scott Anderson and his wife, Cheryl, of Afton; his brother, Steven F. Anderson and his significant other, Nancy, of Montebello; mother and father-in-law, Herman and Mary Fitzgerald of Beech Grove; a brother-in-law, Darrell Fitzgerald and his wife, Robin, also of Beech Grove; a sister-in-law, Donna Rodes and her husband, Bill, of Afton; two grandsons, Shannon M. Anderson and Evan S. Anderson; several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011, at Beech Grove Christian Church by Pastor Billy Coffey and Mr. Robert Mansfield, with burial to follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.

The family received friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to "The Anderson Family Fund" c/o Windjammer Construction 7852 Rockfish Valley Hwy., Afton VA, 22920.
