Shirley Frances (nee Mahaney) Fry , 75, of Bellevue, passed away on December 29, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Fort Thomas, KY. Shirley was a graduate of Bellevue High School. Worked for 32 years for the Covington Police Dept. as a Record Clerk and where she loved her job dearly. She was an avid sports fan. Shirley was born March 25, 1936 in Dayton, KY to Raymond Othello Mahaney and J. Frances (nee Losey) Mahaney. Shirley is survived by her Daughter, Sandy Pannos of Morrow, OH, Sons, Randy Sturgeon of Bellevue, KY, and Tony Sturgeon of Covington, KY, Sister, Thelma Wiethorn, Deer Park, OH, Niece, Deborah Schoeny of Deer Park, OH, 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012, at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue, Kentucky. Shirley, you will be missed greatly. I was so sad to hear of your passing. We worked together for so long and shared many laughs and some hard times. Another light has appeared in the sky and will forever shine brightly because of you. God Bless.
