Family-Placed Obituary

WILLIAM ALAN MECHAW Died suddenly on November 28, 2008. He was born August 9, 1965, in West Palm Beach FL and was the son of Josephine Giles Mechaw and the late Billy Mechaw. Alan graduated from Northshore High School in West Palm Beach, FL (Class of 1983). He was a certified corian installer and a perfectionist. He loved the outdoors and was the happiest fishing and boating. Alan will be sadly missed by his friends and family, mother Josie Mechaw of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, sister Beth Morstadt, nephew Brian Morstadt, niece Brittany Morstadt of Jupiter, FL, aunt Anitra Lilly of Medina, OH, uncle Herman (Patricia) Mechaw of Lantana, FL and caring relatives in Maine. Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the loyal circle of friends for their concern and help over the years. A service will be held this summer at Branch Pond in Ellsworth, Maine. I was so sadden to hear of Alan's passing. I have very few childhood memories of Beth and Alan. The ones I have.... I cherish dearly.
I remember him as a beautiful and a happy child.
I have never felt the loss of a brother or a son. So, I can only imagine the pain you are feeling. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during these most difficult days. May you find comfort and peace in your memories. God's speed

I went to school with Alan. He was funny and we spent alot of time together with all of our friends. I moved about 3 years ago and haven't seen him since. He will be missed very much. I have very fond memories of him. My sympathy goes out to the family. Alan was a good person!
