Karen Hickok Tyndell and Family

September 30, 2011

Kim, our family (Tyndells), and my family (Hickoks) were blessed and honored to know Ricky and to call him FRIEND. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He touched many, many lives and was a blessing to all who had the privilege to know him. We were sorry to hear of Ricky's early passing in to eternity, but rest in the knowledge that we will be reunited with him one day in Glory. God Bless you and the family and keep you in His Peace and Grace. Let us know should you need anything. You all will continue to be in our prayers. My parents, Kirk and Kathy Hickok (missionaries in Brazil) wish to send their condolences as well, and to let you know they are praying for your family also.

Kim, I am really sorry to hear about your husband. I didn't know him but I know you and if he was your husband then he must have been a great person because you are. I hope that your family finds peace and strength and reading his obituary I know he is far better off now than he was before. God bless you and your family. Lewis Johnson (Pines)

I am blessed to have known Ricky as he and my dad were like brothers, he was a wonderful and hilarious person who made me laugh all the time!! I loved his humor and I know he is sharing it in the heavens as well as his beautiful talent on those keys and with his Godly voice singing praises! I was honored to have had him play for the most important day of my life, my wedding, and I will never forget it!! Prayers and thoughts are with you all!!! God Bless you all!!

Kim and family, though our hearts are filled with saddness we are also rejoicing knowing that Ricky is healthy and whole again in his Heavenly home, singing with the Angels. He has been a great witness for the Lord, touching countless hearts and lives through his music. Ricky, you and the kids have been wonderful neighbors and great friends. Al is really going to miss his handy-man buddy. Our love and prayers are with each of you. May God continue to keep you always in His care.

Ricky, I have known you since I was a teenager. You have always brought a smile to my face whenever I run into you. As a teenager, you always seemed to get me into trouble. At least Dad finally forgave you about the trenchcoat incidence. It's hard to understand why God takes the good ones, but I know He has a plan and you are indeed a part of it. We will truly miss you on this earth, but know you are in that heavenly choir and playing the piano for all of the wonderful choruses going on up there. May God be with your family during this time of sorrow. Till we meet again. Your friend, Caddy
