Not sure what to say?

November 16, 2010

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I wanted you to know Gene made a difference in my life back in 1971, in Astoria, OR. He was my probation officer and he said something to me that made me realize my parents would always be there for me no matter what. He had a special way with words and related very well to young people. I thought he was a great guy and have never forgotten him. I am sorry for your loss. Carolyn Ryan (Seaside,OR)

My husband and I were very sorry to learn of Gene Bui's passing. In 1964 Gene Bui introduced my husband and I in Redding. He also sang at our wedding. Needless to say, he was very special in our lives for many years. Prior to late 1964, Gene and I worked at the Tehama County court house at the same time. We had lost track to him and were sorry to learn of his passing. Our condolances to his family for their great loss.

I worked with a Gene Bui who was a Probation Officer in Tehama County many years ago when I was employed in the Tehama County Clerk-Recorder's Office in Red Bluff. I THINK this may be the Gene Bui that passed away in Redding. If so - my sincerest condolences to his surviving family. I believe his first wife's name was Sue Bui.
