Georgia I. 'Jean' Levings, 86 DAVIS - Georgia I. "Jean" Levings, 86, of Davis died at 11:47 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, in Medina Manor Nursing Center, Durand. Born Oct. 31, 1924, in Naylor, Mo., the daughter of Joseph and Lillie B. Widmer Wallace. Married Edward Levings on April 23, 1946, in Fairview, Kan.; he died Oct. 30, 1988. She had previously been employed by Edwards Bakery. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Durand. Jean loved the springtime and especially loved gardening and being outside. She was always a very hard worker in anything that she did. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren, and her family was everything to her. Survivors include her children, Donna Foster of Durand, Marsha (Roger) Sarrels of Davis, Cathy (Richard) Taylor of Davis and Kim (Brian) Jacobs of Durand; grandchildren Donny (Erin) Foster, Melissa (Ron) Kaskovich, Angela, Tanya and Samantha Sarrels, Megan (Rodrigo) Flores, Amanda, Zachery and Allison Taylor, Paige Levings and Addison Jacobs; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lillian Wallace of Central Point, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by her son-in-law, Donald Foster; and granddaughter, Michelle Foster. The family would like to thank Dr. Woodman, Dr. Schultz and the staff at Medina Manor Nursing Center for the loving care that was extended to Jean. Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Durand, with Monsignor Eric R. Barr officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Durand. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
