Jean was our "Other Mother" and dear friend for many years. We have wonderful memories of Jack and Jean while living in Lebec for several years. Jean loved everybody and was a warm, loving, caring and giving lady. She will be missed and I know she was proud of her sweet family. She brought joy to everyone that met her. We love you Jean and thank you for all the wonderful times we had with you and Jack. God bless you and your family.
With love to John and Jackie and Sandy and their families too.
Someday we will all be together again and share all the wonderful memories.
We Love you.

We lived next door and knew Jean for the years when she lived in Morro Bay. We have several of her oils hanging in our home and they always remind us of the wonderful friendship we shared with her even after she moved to Yuma. She painted a female nude for my husband to hang in his own bathroom in the house that we built up on the hill on Juniper. Sometimes we would love to go back to those fun days with a little house next to her's because we were some of her first friends in Morro Bay and we had a wonderful time with her. She was funny and talented and a very kind person. We will miss her greatly. God bless her. Tom and Sue Dietrick

Jean and Jack were friends with my parents, Virginia and Wallie Dieter. I remember when Jack, my dad, Butch Milligan and Charlie Cronkite would travel to the Indy 500 together--that was a long time ago. Jean was a very lovely person and will be remembered.

We were sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We met her a couple of times when we were visiting our daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Paul Sturgeon. A very lovely and wonderful lady and we know that all who knew her will miss her very much.

To all who attended the service either in Yuma or Bakersfield, or who sent a card or a sweet email or posted on this guest book or on FaceBook, I thank you all. My mother meant alot to many of us and to the friends she cherished. She is now buried with our dad and their love story can resume again.

Jean will be missed by Morro Bay Art Association and her friends. She worked many hours on the board and her refreshments and decorations were always top notch. I will miss her laughter and always willing to go to some event at the drop of a hat. She was such a delight to be around. I know she is having fun in heaven. Wilma

Jean is my beautiful grandma. I was lucky enough to live with her in Morro Bay my first two years in college. How she put up with an 18 years old is beyond me! But, she did and we both enjoyed each others company. I loved socializing with her and all her friends. She taught me how to do my first oil painting and inspired me to keep pursuing art. I loved her sense of humor, class and kindness. I love you grandma and will miss you deeply.

Legally speaking Jean may have been my "Step Grandma" but was truly my Grandma. The times I was able to spend with her through the 13 years I have known her were always ones full of laughter. She had an incredible sense of humor and kept my Dad from getting too far out of line. She knew just how to verbally slap him back into shape. I will miss you Grandma. You are now with our Lord and there is no greater joy in this world than knowing that.

I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting Jean. She always made me laugh whenever I went over to see her while visiting my mom, Sandy Frasier. I only knew her for 2 years, but I'm glad I had those years to get to know her. She will be sadly missed and will always have a place in my heart.

Jean was my beautiful grandmother inside and out. She inspired me with her graceful, kind and forgiving ways. She could always look at any situation in a postive light. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always there for her family and friends. My grandmother was passionate about her art and it showed through her paintings. I will always remember her intuitive advice, her love for people and her beautiful warm smile. I love you Grandma and I will dearly miss you.

Jean was a part of my extended family...the mom of my dear Uncle John and the grandmother of my cousins. I have many memories of the times we spent in their home in Lebec when I was a little girl...and I will always cherish them. I know she will be truly missed. My heart and love goes out to you during your time of loss and knowing that she is now with her beloved Jack should put us all at ease.

Marcia & I have lost a very dear friend and we will miss talking to her. We have one of the nicest anniversary presents ever received. A beautiful painting, she painted, of a spanish hacienda that Jean sent to us for our 50th. It is displayed in our living room here in Florida and always receives comments from new visitors.
We are very thankful for Jackie taking the time to call us with the sad news.
May God bless and keep her close to him.
Love to the family

Jean was not only my mother in law but also my good friend. I would sometimes tease her, saying that she was my favorite mother in law and she would reply with that beautiful smile of hers saying, " I'd better be your only mother in law." She was a great human being, Artist, Mother , Grandmother, Great Grandmother, with a beautiful since of humor. She took people as they were with no preconceptions. If you were an idiot you had to prove it to her. She was a very interesting person being intelligent , analytical and a joy to be around. I loved her very much. She will be missed, but she will always be in my heart.

Margaret, I did not have the pleasure to meet you in life, but I have gotten a feel for who you were through my friendship with your wonderful daughter, Jackie. Jackie's strengths, morals and integrity, all the qualities that make her a good friend have developed from your influence in her life. She is indeed one of your finest works. Thank you for your contributions.
