Louis Keeshan Obituary

LOUIS P. KEESHAN Louis P. Keeshan, 89, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2010 in San Francisco. He was a truly good man and a devout Catholic. Born June 15, 1921 in Albany, NY to Frank R. and Katherine Keeshan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank, Jr. and Edmund. He is survived by his two nieces Phyllis Winter and Pamela Keeshan, his extensive family in the Catholic Church and his many friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 21, at St. Anne's Home - 300 Lake St., San Francisco, CA. The rosary and viewing will be between 10 and 11 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to tthe Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Anne's Home.

I have known Lou Keeshan for all the years he lived at St. Anne's Home in San Francisco. He was a deeply spiritual and intelligent man who had one of earth's most beautiful smiles. I will miss him forever. He was a love

Lou was a good friend of my Dad, Paul Hein. My Dad always spoke highly of Lou and his brother. I spoke to Lou about 3 years ago and he was a kind and gentle man. God Bless Lou Keeshan.
