ADOLFO GALAVIZ NEVAREZ

passed away at his home from cancer with his loving family at his side on October 1, 2010. Born in Mexico September 21, 1939 to Escolastica Galaviz and the late Enrique Nevarez. He is survived by his lovely wife, Maria Nevarez and their five children: Olivia Nevarez, Adolfo Nevarez Jr. Maria Chavez, Leticia Andrews, and Jaime Nevarez. Along with 16 grandchildren & five great grandchildren. A devoted family man. Living in a house many would see as small, he transformed a house into home large enough to provide security to all who might need it. Adolfo Nevarez need not be idealized or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life, but simply to be remembered as a good and decent man. Those of us who loved him and who take him to his rest, pray that what he was to us and what he wished for others will someday come to pass for all the world. A visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Funeraria del Angel Pierce Bros Griffith in Chino, with rosary at 7 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m, Friday, October 8, 2010 at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church in Alta Loma. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario. Funeraria Del Angel Pierce Bros Griffith, Chino, in charge of arrangements.
