ROSE BUDNEY Obituary

Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, New York on October 30, 1927, she was the last survivor of a family of four children raised in Brooklyn. Rose met her husband, George, married and relocated to Woodland Hills in 1955. Rose loved to read and cooking was her passion, to everyone's delight. She was always up for a game of cards and cherished her monthly bridge luncheons with her best friends. Her favorite hobby was a winning slot machine, which she always had a knack for finding. Rose was blessed to cruise and travel the world with George, and visiting relatives in Sicily was her favorite destination. Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband, George; and her son, George Jr. Rose is survived by her four children, Vita Lynne Senini, Anthony Budney, Kathryn Ray and Lisa Olson. She was blessed with eight loving grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Rose will be sorely missed by everyone who was blessed to know her, but has left us all with plenty of comforting and humorous stories that are etched in our minds and hearts forever. Godspeed Mama... we love you... Services entrusted to the care of Gates Kingsley & Gates Praiswater Mortuary Canoga Park (818) 348-3354
