Dear Duncan and Mary Jo~ As my sister, Suzanne, said, Christine was a very dear friend of our mother, Miriam. There friendship began over seventy years ago. Christine was one of Mother's beautiful Bridesmaids.
Throughout the years we celebrated many Birthdays with the darlling group of mall walkers Christine and Mother were a part of. They were all happy, honest, good and loving. Christine always had a kind word, smile on her face,a strong faith in God and an exubrance for life.
I spoke with Christine last April, she said she missed her home, but, she was happy. Hearing her sweet voice made me happy. I will miss her.

Dear Duncan and Nancy and Mary Jo ~
Your mother Christine and my mother Miriam were wonderful friends over the years. I have fond memories of them together and with your dad and mine. Christine was there for my mother's 80th birthday party. It was a lovely celebration. That might have been the last time I saw her.
I lost my mother last year at 93. I think of her everyday and cherish the memories I have of her. She and Christine were wonderful friends, always enjoyed being together.
