Hi Herb....It's been awhile since we sat, chatted & shared a laugh.
It was always a pleasure to work
w/you & swap our thoughts & wishes
about the future. You were always
a true, true gentleman who will be missed.

I first met Herb shortly after I
started my career at the county.
Even though it's been many decades,
I'll always remember the help he
extended to the new kid on the block. His gentle manner & quick
smile will never be forgotten.

Dear Betty, Laurel and the rest of the family:
I am so sorry to hear about Herb's passing. I am glad that Kathy, Cathy and I went to visit him in December when we did. Even though he seemed to not know who we were at times, there were other times that he did know who we were. He was a strong and generous man that all of us that worked with adored. If the clients did not have enough money for their EBT cards, Herb always had a pocket full of one dollar bills to help out a client. Believe it or not, the client's did appreciate this and would come back to give him his money. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
I realize that it is very difficult to lose someone so close but knowing that he is now in peace should hopefully ease the pain. God bless you all and keep all his memories close to your heart. I know I will.
Sincerely,
Maureen Rioux-Fust

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Herb. He will be truly missed by many. Herb was a kind man and a joy to be with. I will have fond memories of Herb and will miss running into him at the store, on the bus, and at family gatherings. God bless you Herb.
