Shoe RepairmanLAKELAND -- Mr. Leonard Glenn Daugherty of Lakeland died of lung failure Sunday (May 25, 2003) at home. He was 69.Born in Clay County, Ill., on May 30, 1933, he came to Lakeland from Effingham, Ill., 12 years ago. He was a shoe repairman. He was a foster parent to several children. He was a member and elder of Woodland Christian Church in Lakeland.Mr. Daugherty is survived by his wife, Wilma Daugherty; sons, Leonard Daugherty, Pooler, Ga., Ernest Daugherty, St. Petersburg, Richard Daugherty, Homosassa, Steve Daugherty, Altamont, Ill.; daughters, Kathy Winstead, St. Petersburg, Susan Daugherty, Inverness; sisters, Geneva Cochran, Decatur, Ill., Margaret Boerwinkle, St. Petersburg, Grace Francis, Marietta, Ga.; brothers, Paul Daugherty, St. Petersburg, John Daugherty, Inverness; 18 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.Services will be at 10 this morning in Louisville, Ill. Heath Funeral Chapel.
